ZOE improves the probability of detection, with an objectively measured detection performance of 96.8% accuracy from 337 metres across variable conditions. When optical zoom is applied the distance increases.

Developed in collaboration with the US Coastguard, ZOE’s AI models have been built on a proprietary dataset of over 5 million hand labelled and ground truthed maritime rescue images across a wide range of met ocean conditions. Powered by this dataset, ZOE provides a consistent level of detection performance.

ZOE provides instantaneous detection and alerting of persons/ objects that enter the field of view or cross a pre-determined geo-fence. Each detection provides geo-location information and is logged in the system.

ZOE provides an enhanced search capability by increasing the probability of detection and consistency of detection performance across search sweep width. Developed in collaboration with the US Coastguard ZOE supports Search operators by providing visual cues overlayed on a simple display to draw attention to persons or objects detected in the field of view.
