AI for search and rescue at sea

We recently attended the COVE Demonstration Day in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, an on-water showcase featuring demonstrations from the world’s leading marine technology innovators. The Zelim team showcased the capabilities of AI for search and rescue at sea.

The live demo of ZOE, our AI-enabled person (and object) in water detection, alerting and tracking technology, drew maritime safety and security stakeholders, such as the Canadian Coastguard, as well as regional press, with CBC Nova Scotia producing the 2-minute clip (above) summarising the potential impact of our technology in speeding up search and rescue missions.

Our CEO, Sam Mayall, also spoke at the Innovation Stage during the event, presenting the full Zelim eco-system: ZOE, GUARDIAN, SURVIVOR and SWIFT to gathered delegates.
